Yeah I know... even for a used set. Im looking for a used HD580 or K501, but I couldn't pass up on this one without at least taking a stab at em'

If im not mistaken, dont you see them on the Head-Fi For Sale forums for cheaper all the time? From waht ive seen, $160 shipped seems to be the usual price, and the ebay is $172 shipped.

I got mine on here for $160 shipped with the flats and senn pads included, but i got a good deal hehe.

$160 *is* the approx. going rate here on the FS forums. Often with extra pads. Some have even gone for less.

I actually got a brand new pair of SR225's for $165 from a pretty big company. What I did was i found this very shady looking website that was selling them for $165, then I went around to all the big companies and told them I found a lower price and asked if they could beat that price. All of them said the site that was selling them was not authorized or some stuff...but anyway, I got one company to sell em to me at that price. So im happy.

p.s. i think one of the big companies reported the shady company, and now they dont sell them anymore. Well there's my story...
