An SR-X III + SRD-7 will cost you anywhere from the totlaly amazingly low $90 i paid (don't hold your breath) and the $225 a set recently sold for in the for-sale forums here, to $300 or more if you're in a hurry.

Prices varies a lot.
Depending on condition, where you find it (FS foru, eBay, AudiogoN, ...), and a bit of luck.

I sold the pair talked about here for $225. But have seen them go for $100-300..

It's probably a decent price. I really haven't followed the prices on the SR-X.

The problem is that it doesn't come with an adapter. Until you get one, you won't be able to listen to them. I got a good price on an SR-5 on eBay because it didn't come with an adapter. I had them for 2 weeks without being able to listen to them so I ended up putting in a high bid for an SRD-7.
