I just recently purchased a pair of Grado sr-80s, they sound great. I use them with a Creative Zen Xtra mp3 player. When I purchased my headphones they let me hear them on my mp3 player, a Rotel cd player, and a Creek headphone amp. I never experienced anything like soundstage until I heard the sr80s hooked up to that Creek amp. I guess I have two questions. Is it possible to get back to that level of sound with a portable battery operated amp? Secondly I like what I have heard about the pa2v2, but have also heard that the Grado headphones respond better with dual channel op-amps (Apheared 47). Would the pa2v2 be a good paring with the Grados, or should I pursue something closer to the Twinstar Black? I am very close to buying the pa2v2, but that dual channel issue keeps haunting me. This is my first post, so be kind.

Thanks in advance
