I picked up a second hand 1212 soundcard and running digital out to my avr. I would like to have the extra features that the squeezebox offers but wonder if it measures up to the sound I am getting now from this Emu. I feel it is as good or maybe a little better than my Denon 1920 universial player. I would probably use the digital out because my avr does a pretty good job with d/a conversion. Has anyone done a comparision between these two or care to comment on digital out of the squeezebox. Also anyone have any comments on modded power and effect on digital out with sb3? Thanks!
