I just bought a 3 year warranty via SquareTrade on a new iRiver U10 that I purchased off an ebay seller. It was only $9.99 for 3 years coverage which they state they will refund you the complete purchase price if anything breaks. Has anyone tried using this SquareTrade warranty before? Is it completely hassle-free if it needs to be used? They have a 30 day 100% money back on the warranty policy itself as well.

I was interested in getting one of their warranties for a TV I bought. But when I read the fine print, they state the for Illinois, they do not cover normal wear and tear. At this point, I cannot figure out what the warranty would be good for. In my mind, they could claim any malfunction as being normal wear and tear or the result of operator error/misuse.
