I just bought the ER6i and I have to say, if you just came fresh off a bass-boosting earphone, you'll be thoroughly disappointed.
Before this, I used the Sennheiser CX300 and that's well known to be "bouncy" on the bass. The ER6i does seem to be "weak" (i.e. much less dramatic) on the bass but you'll get used to it. Er6i is very clear and natural, and you'll be able to hear the backup singers (if there are any) - it is just that precise on sound.
I don't know much about the Super Fi 4.
