I want to buy the Topping D30 DAC, A30 Headphone Amp and PA3 Speaker Amp. I was wondering if when splitting the DAC line out to each of amps, does adjusting the volume on one amp would affect the volume on the other? I would like to have each amps volume be independent of each other while operating both simultaneously. Does anyone have first hand experience with this?

The A30 has RCA outputs that you can run into the PA3

The output from the A30 is not controlled by the A30's volume knob and is a straight lineout.

So you would go:

D30 > A30 > PA3

I'll add that I'm not sure if the A30's line out will keep working or if it will be shut off by turning the unit off. Otherwise yes, a splitter works the way you want.

Thanks guys. I checked the product page for the a30 amp and indeed it have a dual ouput switch to allow it to output to headphones and it's own line out. But as a second option being able to split the dac line out while maintaining independent volume control is good to know.
