Hi All,
I have a Burson Soloist SL that is failing and cutting out in the left channel. For headphones, I have the K702 and the T1. My speakers are the Dali Zensor 3. To my ears, both the T1 and the K702 sound good, but the K702 appears to be tonally more neutral and closer to the balance of my speakers.
As my headphone amp is failing, I am thinking of a complete system upgrade to either a:
SPL Phonitor 2 + AKG K712 Pro/K812
OR
Beyerdynamic A2 + T1 2nd generation
The Phonitor 2 is exorbitantly costly in India, which is making me lean towards the cheaper Beyerdynamic combo.
But the question is: Is the T1 2nd generation tonally accurate enough for classical?
