Does anyone see any reason why I shouldn't use the pre-out on a Gilmore V1 for a pair of Blue Sky Mediadesk 2.1 monitors? I could use them balanced straight out of my soundcard, but there are couple of reasons that I don't want to:

1. I have 2 sources, and need to be able to switch between both of them.
2. Volume control for the Blue Sky's is on the back of the subwoofer, I need something more accessible.

FYI this is the for sale forum.

You can use the gilmore as preamp if it has that function if you have a power amp for the monitors.
