  I still want to try the "Rag" with a pair of the Audience Clairaudient 1+1 series 2+'s, and if THAT combination out of the "Rag's" speaker taps doesn't work terribly well, maybe the Elac Unifi active speaker designs might sound awfully nice being connected to the preamp. outputs of the "Rag"...well, that is when Andrew Jones finishes that design and Elac puts those active designs into production...

The LS50s sound pretty good but need a balanced sorce and gain set to 2 or 3. I found the R300s sounded a bit better.

The Rag does a good job pre-amping my stealth 8s.

 
The Ragnarok is capable of driving my LS50 plenty loud for my living room (30'x15'x13' LxWxH). By itself, LS50 bass cannot match the R300s but this is a non-issue for me as I connect my sub to the SE out of Ragnarok. The Yggy-Rag-Ls50-sub combo is splendid!

Awesome. One of my next moves is the Yggdrasil or speakers to replace the stealths.

I found the R300 had a bigger soundstage and more detail as well. But I think the LS50 can sound better than it did with the rag and the maranz amp i heard them on.

The Ragnarok w/ my previously owned Magnepan Mini's were driven pretty well, sensitivity 87 db.  Not as good as my A21, but better than peachtree nova 125 and parasound a23 i'd say.

I use my LS50s with High gain and still volume level about 12' clock (I'm only about 4 ft from the speakers!). Probably my Hugo doesn't deliver enough power working as a DAC. Maybe.

Feeding the Rag w/ a balanced dac makes a difference.

I got them in 4 days. Eric is awesome and so are his speakers.

 
How do these sound with electronic music? can the Rag drive them easily?

Driving a pair of 20 year old Triangle Celius 202 w/ ribbon tweeters 98 db/w/meter added and a 42 yr old pair of ProAc Tablettes 86 db/w/meter

Rag drives both very nicely.

Also a visting Focal 3 way tower (936 I think) and KEF LS50, all very nice. Only the Senn HD-600 throws it for a bit of a loop (not enough voltage).
