Speakers in the Shower

Check out speakers at marine stores...I know Bose, MB Quart and Polk all make "speakers" for boating...and there are several head units similar to car audio that are either water resistant or at least designed to be in the salt air. If I were you I would put a set of indoor/outdoor speakers in the bathroom walls and run wire to my audio source elsewhere.

Check out West Marine and I think Crutchfield sells some marine audio.

This is my best stab since I'm not sure if you actually want the audio equipment in actual shower with you or if you just want it to withstand the damp environment of a bathroom?!?

Good Luck

i want it in the shower with me... I didn't think this would sound so odd to u because i once had a cheap radio that hung off my shower, but it broke, because it was cheap... i want something of a higher quality however. Would outdoor speakers withstand a shower? Is there a chance id get electrocuted? Thanks

email Audiocubes and see if the iPod will drive these amplified mini speakers.

1. Connect via headphone out (I have no idea if the cable is included)
2. put in 4 1.5V batteries
3. turn the amplified speakers on
4. the speakers lights up

Don't do it. You'll die.

... why not recommend a pair of electrostatic headphones instead?

*ah wait he wanted speakers ><* Maybe you could get an old ATP3, and wrap everything in plastic, with extra care taken for the connection terminals =P

Somehow I'd doubt that the ipod would last very long in the shower, either.
