Hi,

What would be some cheap speaker cables I could use?
So far Im using some really cheap Supra classic stuff and hoping to upgrade

Can someone please recommend some not very expensive cables for me

Just get the cheapest cables that MIT makes and there you go. Look at ebay to get them really cheap

Go to any electronics store that carries speaker cables. New Monster Cable speaker wire is fine. Just get twist crimps with your favorite connectors (I use banana plugs).

Monster makes some of the worst cables that money can buy, while MIT makes some of the best, just ask around.

I'm using DH Labs Silver Sonic T-14 Speaker Cable now as an upgrade from my former Monster cables. The DH Lab's stuff is well made, sounds great, and is quite reasonably priced. I also use a couple of their ICs in my system.

I've been saving up to replace my entire interconnect collection with the DH Labs Silver Sonic BL-1s. They're the best!!! I'll have to try the T-14's too. I'm using Cardas Crosslink right now.

If you only need two pairs, according to that site the T-14's seem to fit your budget unless you need longer than 6'. (I use 3meter lengths)

There's nothing wrong with Monster Cable, I don't get why everyone bashes them. They sound fine, there's just better ones out there that are much better value.

You might want to try the Brown and Black Kimbers. I forgot the actual name. But I have a double run to my B&W's and sonds pretty good.

Oz is prob one of the worse countries for audio at times...

The amp and speakers I have are aboth aussie made.
There's a limited range of headphone amps and cabling here.

We do have alot of nice kit speakers though

Vifa and Audax.

What do you guys think of the Nordost speaker cables?
