Any recomendations for a good sub and bookshelfs in the uk, i am looking to upgrade.
Speakers need to be around £200 or less and bookshelfs, efficient , handle at least 100watts rms, preferably netruel.
I am considering, ww.dv247.com/studio-equipment/behringer-b2031p-truth-high-resolution-ultra-linear-reference-studio-monitors--25944I

Subwoofer needs to be around £300 or less, 10 ” or larger, have pass thru in and out connections, over 110db @ 1metre.
I am considering

Well in my recent upgrade for my PC Audio i did listen to a few speakers from either side of the Atlantic so for UK perhaps the Wharfedale Diamond 9.1? Here is a combo with the SUB 150

Is going passive and hitting a stereo amp/avr doable?

Yea I got the behringers now, the behringers are outstanding speakers for the money and have the best and most accurate tweeter i've ever heard, I would have liked floorstanders but I just don't have the space in my bedroom if I was going for floorstanders I would always buy a audio intimidation set http://www.audiointimidation.com/s3000.html , there also outstanding speakers and sound way better than there price tag would suggest.
