Hi guys I have decided to get a second-hand dap and currently im torn between the sp1000m and the wm1a.
I will mainly use my hifiman ananda ,fiio fh7 and sony ier-m9 for it.
I know that sony iems pairs best with the wm1a, but I have heard that the 3.5mm port on the wm1a is quite meh. Therefore I would like to ask if I would also use others instead of only using the ier-m9, should I choose the wm1a or the sp1000m.
I mainly listen to jpop, rock, jazz and classical music. And I don't mind that wm1a is unable to stream.
If you have any opinions, please feel free to leave it down below.

If I were, I'd go with the SP1000M. Astell&Kern DAPs play well with hifiman ananda, fiio fh7 and sony ier-m9. SQ-wise, SP1000M will play jpop, rock, jazz and classical better than sony. If your heart is set on sony, go the cheaper route and get the NW-A55 and put a custom (wm1a ) firmware on it.

FWIW, I have a Sony NW-A55HN, A&K 100, A&K120, A&K100Mk2, iRiver iHP-120, iPod Classic 5th/6th//7th Gen (yes I have 4 of these Apple iPod's, don't judge me). I have a number of IEMs as well. I am not a Hi-Fi snob, I just like listening to good music.
