I've gone through a dozen sources in the past 2 years and currently have the Classe SACD2, Meridian G08, Bel Canto PL-1A and Denon 5910.

I'm thinking about dumping my G08 for a Bel Canto CD-1. Anyone ever compare the two?

I will definitely be picking up the Esoteric P-03/D-03 combo next month but was also thinking about picking up another universal in the new DV-60. Anyone have a chance to use the DV-60 yet? Also any comparisons of Esoteric's older DSD -> PCM technology versus their newer PCM->DSD technology?

Finally, anyone ever hear the BelCanto Ref.1000, 1000W monoblocks based on ICEpower modules and have any thoughts on them?

a good friend of mine owns the PL-1A with the Pre gen 3 and a pair gen3 Monoblocks.

Very clean sound, I'm a big fan of bel canto gear. their new digital monoblocks look to be very good! excellent value!

He is currently trialling theNewforce ref 9's and said he will compare the new ref1000's before deciding

Am I reading right? You own a Classe SACD2 and a Meridian G08 and a Bel Canto PL-1A and a Denon 5910!?

And you're planning on buying an Esoteric!?

Yes, I'd like to buy the P-03/D-03 combo and either the UX-1 Limited or DV-60. I would most likely get rid of the G08. Keep in mind I have several speaker systems in addition to my heaphone setup, thus I need more sources than most people. I just happen to like them nice and shiny.
