I have a 4.1 sound source, really just 4 channel, a sound card. i have two computers i want to connect to one amp, has 2 mini stereo inputs.

so i need to make a really simple switch. takes in two mini stereo inputs and outputs 4 mini stereo outputs (though in the form of inputs so i don't have wires hanging out hehe)

it just needs a switch or two to let me select which computer goes to the amp at what time. should be really simple. however, i found plans for this, and have now lost them, and they had resistors on it... any ideas if this is even needed?
