What would you offer If I was going to connect the source to a tube amp and get it sit on a desk. I think a need a source. What would it be?
Budget: around 300 usd.

I'm using the Parasound Zdac now for all of my desktop audio needs and it works fantastically. Wonderful sound. It just recently got a price drop and so slots into your budget perfectly at $299.
