Hey. Right now I'm looking for a sound card or DAC for my desktop. I'd love to spend <$100. For connection, PCI or PCI Express x1 works for internal. For external, USB, Firewire, or S/PDIF optical. I haven't S/PDIF coax. Any ideas? I was thinking of the M-Audio Audiophile 2496 card for $100. I run Vista 64 most of the time too. I don't want some X-Fi either. Help?
