Has anyone got to listen to the new M9s? Do they sound like the normal Apple earbuds with isolation? I'm not an audiophile and the normal buds sound good to me.

They should sound much better if only for the isolation. They were good enough to pick up an award from ClieOS so they can't be that bad at all.

No the isolation is much greater than the apple buds, and so is the SQ. If you can't hear any difference between apple buds, and for instance a concert hall, you're wasting your money already. The apple buds, man they really don't sound fine.

Got my M9 today, best I've ever heard in my budget lifetime and they've only been going for 30 minutes. Massive upgrade from apple buds

Do the T-400 Comply tips fit the M9?

They fit, yes, but the M9 has a short nozzle so I'm not sure the Complys are a great idea in terms of sound.

What if I use the Hybrids or Olives?

Why the need for aftermarket tips? Have you tried the stock ones? Hybrids will work. Olives might have the same problems with the short nozzle as T400s.

I'm thinking foam might be a little more comfortable than the silicone.
