Hey guys
I had the X-Fi XtremeMusic since January 2006 and TBS, I loved it to death. However, since upgrading to Vista x64, like most of you, I lost the love LOL. Although Creative’s recent attempt did improve the sound quality in number of ways, the stability has taken one step backward (IMO).
Anyway, I no longer play PC games thanks to the X360 ^-^. So I’ll only be using the new card to listen to music and movies (with my new Audio-Technica ATH-AD700 HDPs ^-^). I would also prefer a card with solid stability under Vista x64 with SP1.
I know this pretty much narrows it down to the ASUS D2 and D2X, but apparently the X-Fi Titanium is also exceptional under Windows Vista x64. So I’m stuck, and any help will be greatly appreciated.
