In future PPA or M3.

IMHO, usb the sound card is more preferable. intel advances PCI-X. Also will soon refuse from PCI.

What to buy for these headphones?

PS: Excuse for bad English.

I have a modded EMU 1212. Think that is pretty good. I haven't heard the others so I can't comment on this. During the research I did, looking for a good cheap soundcard, I got the 1212.

What, no Revo 5.1? That would be a fine choice for your cans. The 0404 also is a touch expensive, normally it only costs half as much as the 1212m. Can you get the ESI Juli@? Otherwise I'd say the AP192 wouldn't be bad, or the 1212m of course. I wouldn't bother with the Revo 7.1 or one of the USB "cards".
