soundblaster z vs rog z97 maximus ranger vii

hi guys i have bought a soundblaster z and now i have read my onboard audio is the same of sbz -.-....
dac : Cirrus Logic® CS4398 DAC provides brilliant 120dB signal-to-noise ratio

can someone say if m,y onboard is like or better then sb z??

The Sound Blaster Z sound card and the Z97 Max both use the CS4398 DAC chip.
I would assume the Z97 uses the Realtek ALC898 or ALC1150 audio processor, while the SB-Z uses Creative's own SoundCore3D audio processor.

z97 have supreme fx is like a sb z better or baddest?for gaming only with akg k612 ^^(i m fps player)

The SupremeFX in some ways is just a fancy name for typical on-board Realtek ALC889 audio.
I would (best guess) is the SB-Z is still at least a little better (for FPS gaming) then the ALC889 on-board audio.

ty for the reply,..someone can help me for best settings for competitive games(like cs go)?is better windows 5.1 settings or stereo?with sb effect or without?
