Hi all, found the link to Sound & Visions IEM face off and though it might make for an interesting read.

I was under the impression that the TF10 was more of a 2 way design, with dual low armatures and a single high armature.

Good read nonetheless.

not sure what I think. Prices are really strangely off: CK10 for instance is not a 400$ earphone and never has been - in fact, it has been discontinued for about 3 months with its final price hovering around 200$.

It debuted at 300$. Other than that, was nice to see earphones get spotlight.

He also says the ER4P has "better" bass than the IE8, but he makes no mention of what really makes it better..

It is also kind of predictable that he chooses the TF10 as his favorite of the group especially when his reference IEMs are the UE11.

I wonder why he picked a cut-off of $450?

I would have liked to see the Shure SE530, Westone 3 and UM3X in there too.

wow the tf10 is a three way IEM now

i think the whole thing could be re written to say

hi i use the UE11 everyday, of the ones i tested the closest were the tf10 so they are the best, obviously!!!
