Sound signature like the SRH840

I'm looking for a pair of headphones that have a similar signature to the SRH840 but is not as big (they seem bigger than your average full-sized cans), more comfortable and around the same price. Around two hundred dollars. Plus I'm not going to be investing in an amp anytime soon.

Take a look at the KRK KNS 8400. Similar sound signature, probably a bit weaker on the bass area.

Amp and EQ the sound in the 20 to 250 Hz region...u will notice decent amount of difference...

It would really help to invest in an amp...a cheaper one maybe...the Fiio series. Some other head-fiers will be able to guide you on that.
 
EQ-ing is simple....
