Total agreement with you, i'm loving DTE900 with stock cable and tips, plus i really like how it matches with RU6 and N7.
I know its not cheap but SQ in fantastic for 750$ :)

What kind of dac would you use with a Liquid platinum amp?

I'm using a Gustard A18 Gungnir A1 balanced to a Liquid Platinum. I also tried the Cayin RU7 (in LO mode) and the Ifi Diablo functioning as DACs and feeding to the Liquid Platinum amp using 4.4mm to XLR cable but these do not sound as good.

No, its just normal k-bear 07.
Favorite so far has been the Kbear 07 as they have just correct size for me and has good sound, but when going by sound the the T-APB tip are slightly better sounding. Just sounds more open.
But even in Large they are to small for me.

As for cables I think pure Copper is best, no need to open up sound more with SPC or Silver.

Both EA Ares S 8Wire and my Gladiator Astra Rame has been perfect, the cheap cable above is also great as a cheap option. Think its half SPC and half Copper.

Ah, good to know about the Kbear 07 tips. Will check 'em out.

For a cable, I bought one of the purple ones in the image below, from the classifieds here! It's a NiceHCK spc. Hoping it'll look like it was meant to go with mine, being the stock/ original faceplate.
