Hello.  I already posted about this, but it was in the wrong section, didn't ask specifically, and was overall a big mess.
 
Anyway, I just wanted to know what the best sound card under $100 for primarily gaming, but also music and movies is.  I'm building a custom rig and would really, really like the Xonar Essence STX but it's way out of the possible price range.

Creative SB x-fi will be a choice just under $100, but do not choose x-fi xtreme audio which isn't real x-fi.
 
Otherwise, I think the sound card for music playback should be different from gaming and multi channels playback(movie).
