I picked up a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS at a yard sale today, and I really have no clue what I've picked up. I mostly use portable sources, and almost never listen from my PC, but I'd heard about the Creative Sound Blaster cards and had heard they were good. It was $5, so I figured why not. I'm not going to be home until tomorrow, but before I install it, I wanted to ask a few questions. First, how do you install this? It looks like I just take the old one out, put it in, plug everything back in and put the faceplate on. Is it this easy? Do I need drivers for it? My next question, to anyone who has used this, how was it? What is its sound signature and how well did it work? Also, what do all these inputs/outputs do? Here's a picture:

Thanks for reading and for any responses.

Here is a Sound Blaster forum for posting questions about the Audigy 2 ZS.

The card is a little dated, but is does come with EAX 5.0, which is good for older games.
If you install it into any Win PC computer, the computer should install some basic drivers on it's own

Best to disable the motherboard's on-board audio, in the BIOS, whenever a sound card is installed.
