[Majax]

I'm looking for a PCIE sound card (not many options from what I've seen). I can't decide between creative labs and Asus Xonar sound cards. The sound card MUST be PCIE, as my motherboard doesn't have any PCI slots. I pretty much always use my Sennheiser 558 headphones as well. Any advice would be appreciated. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139054 as a PSU, it's very good that you have good 650w PSU, you want to make sure that all of your components are getting clean, good power, just to make sure that theres not going to be any weird spikes or anything like that, it can degrade your components over time..

as for the sound card, go with this one

I'm just surprised you went with this generation of cards like 670, you can get 770 for the same price or even better 7970 paying 100 bucks less.

Why 3570k though? Or you bought it before?

I bought that stuff quite a while ago. It's all been sitting in my closet as I've been saving up for sound card and PSU. I hope the CPU chip is good though because this is the first & last desktop I'm buying. I figure laptops will be able to do everything a desktop can do down the road anyways.
3570k was/is a really popular choice at the time. Pretty much gonna get RM750 as it's only $10 more. I'm going to read some reviews on it now.
 
I'm conflicted on whether to get a creative or Asus sound card. Asus drivers suck horribly but they have those uni drivers. I know next to nothing on the technical aspects of these audio cards.
