Hi, I recently bought a pair of q701's and I'm now looking a sound card and an amp to power them.
They will primarily be used for gaming but also some music so good positional accuracy would be great.

I've been thinking about getting a xonar dx and an external amp(o2 maybe?). Is that a good idea?
Should I go for dac/amp instead?

Please help me, I'm pretty new to Hi-Fi stuff.

I think for a given budget, the Xonar DX & O2 make a good combo.

Thanks! The dx already has an built-in amp right? How do I connect the o2 without getting double amped sound?
