I am trying to find a turntable that has a width of 14.5" or smaller. I guess trying to stay under a $300 budget. So far all I have seen is a cheaper Denon 29F and a cheaper Audio-Technica PL50.

Is there any others that may be of a higher quality?

Are you putting it on a shelf? Remember that turntables need a good, solid support to sit on. Skip all the new tables under $300. Go used until you can justify that price level.
