But the Z5 is so damn expensive for me... What i dislike from the H3 is the fit, SQ-wise they're good

yes definitely out of reach for me too.
I was just hoping these will push down price of ex 1000 down to 350 or something.

but sony is known for ridiculous pricing.

But h3 is rather attractive at 230 something or was a little while back.

Yes, but it could turn out to be highly competitive with the $1,000 and up market. After considering the DITAs, K3003i, IE800, and 1plus2, I'd rather pay $699 for the Z5.

Anyone with comparisons between h3 and 7550??
 
Point of consideration is reference sound and not fun sound.

Get the 7550, the h3 has too much bass in a stock form and even with mods of tips can still have a V- shape sound. The h3 has better clarity up top but if you want reference you'll want those sweet 7550 mids. The bass is better controlled on the 7550 as well without a mid-bass fun boost.

Yeah,thought so.
Wonder why sony does not sell 7550 in all markets??,,its damn too scarce.
