Thinking about these cans,coming from the ATH-M50 do these have ALOT more bass? If amped with the Fiio E11 and adding +3db of bass? Source is iPod Touch 5g. Blah blah blah I know its a downgrade in terms of Sq but my focus is bass. Im more of a sub-bass man and I hear these have sub-bass thats really hard for any other can to beat,is this true? Or can you suggest something with more rumble for under $150?

They have more bass, yes. They also respond quite well to equalization which can balance out the highs and mids quite a bit.
 
That being said, you can equalize the M50s lower end up to nearly the same point while maintaining a higher level of resolution. I have both of them, If I had to only have one the XB500s would be the first to go, no questions asked. Even if I exclusively listened to basshead music.

m50's will probably last you longer in the end. i've had 3 pairs of xb500's and always end up blowing a driver on them

I use a FiiO E17.
 
You can obviously EQ the bass higher on the XB500, however they'll distort at a lower level than the M50s.
