I currently own the XM2 and have read that the XM3 has a larger opening in the pads for your ears than the XM2. As that has been the only real complaint I’ve had with the headphones, My question is. Are the pads interchangeable from the new model to the older? Visually, Pics/Videos they look as if the housing is the same build. Any information would be of great help to Me. Thanks in advance

The design of the earcups may look the same but when I saw them in person, the new ones are larger, ears fit inside the cups, cannot comment on interchangeability between the old and the new model.
