I'd have a go at £279. I thought the XM4's were great except too large for my ears, these could be ideal.

Yeah price is about the same ballpark as competitors but you already know the xm5 will sound better than them. Happy to pay 300 if they just release them right now! lol

Looks like walkmanblogs has been shutdown. If it's believed to be Sony that has requested the site be taken down, they may not have liked them leaking the XM5's and might mean the release date is close.

Thanks for this update, will keep an eye out for this and hopefully with some luck this new iterations will be a nice upgrade from the XM4’s.

I just pre-ordered Amazon UK as so easy to return if I don't like but showing delivery 9th August.

Gone for white/grey.

Plus never take payment until day of despatch.

I've just cancelled Amazon and gone Sony UK as still have 30 day return policy, get sooner and can use my PayPay 0% interest over 4 month.

Still shows shipping for Grey/White as early as 26th when I placed order.

I really liked XM4 but found a bit too large.

Still on the fence. I discount most non-audiophile reviews, which are usually exceedingly positive for anything new. There are some negatives noted around the finish and the app. I'm hoping for some good comparison reviews about these vs. the competing Panasonic buds. Both $299. And I could not stand the XM4 tips; although these are slightly different, I just don't like any foam tips, and prefer silicone.

I used Spinfit Silicon on my XM4's.
