Hi, I just bought a Sony Vaio pocket which is great by the way. But for a few days Ive been straining my head trying to work out how to get My cd to display properly on the player using EAC. The problem is that it only displays the cd name on the player and not the artists name. Does anybody body know if there is another way to get CD's encoded in lame onto a sony player.

Thanx!

The problem isn't your player. It sounds like your encoding process went a bit awry somewhere. SonicStage will just transfer the MP3s as you encoded them - SS doesn't alter them.

I think its something to do with the tagging. Although I have taged the CD's info, i.e, Artist, genre it still doesnt turn up on the player. I get the songs in order but for some reason it displays the number of each track and doesnt display the album name. Could it be a problem with the way I am tagging my songs when using EAC.
