I have an offer to buy these for about $40 and i needed a cheap setup to use to listen to some vinyl in my spare time, does any know how about these?

I know your new here so take this as advice: You'll always have better luck with questions when asked in the correct forum. I know it's exciting because you might think that's a lot to spend. But this forum is dedicated to headphones in the $1000 range. Companies' top headphones. And other components in thousands of dollars. Does the word "cheap" seem correct? I do not know the received in question at all, but seriously doubt it qualifies...
