Hi. My Sony sports discman is skipping all of a sudden, after 3 1/2 years. I keep it on the lowest skip protection. It has never done this before. Do you have any idea why it's doing this?

this is worrying. often the rail on which the laser is mounted gets worn out. It can be repaired but it is not gonna be cheap But try cleaning the laser first (cotton wool tip with f.i. 90 %ethanol).
