Is the Sony SCD-CD595 a decent CD/SACD player for the price of 150$? I know that for the price you can't expect too much but at this point I really don't know enough to want to spend more than 200$

You can get the 595 for less than $150.00 online.

For the price, I think it's an excellent SACD player and with decent CD playback. Lousy remote and slow loading/changing of layers, but otherwise very solid build quality. Certainly better, make that much better, than any $150.00 CD player.
