ok, since it looks like finding anything other than the 400 series is not easy, what is the SQ like on these? Compared to the 600/700/800 that are not offered in the USA, please correct me if I'm wrong. Love the Sony sound and want to try one of their players, so someone please point me in the right direction.

I have 5 Sony players and my E438F is my least favorite. The boot up time is slow, low playback volume and SQ is not as detailed and warm as my other Sony models. The E438F has 5 EQ and is missing Clear Bass which is all the difference if you enjoy a bottom punch to your music. The A728 is worth the extra price, it's fast boot up, volume and sq is hard to beat.
