I will be ordering some sr60s soon, and i will use them primarily for ALAC->Ipod, but i also have a sony S2 CD player that i haven't used in forever, and was wondering if the grados will sound better out of it than the ipod or my creative sb live soundcard. No amp or anything. The model is D-SJ301, has anyone used this?

How about the bose wave radio/CD(the newer one), does that give good (better than ALAC->ipod) sound out of it's headphone jack?
I just want to know what i have that will give me the best sound quality for testing headphones.
