I have auditioned SONY PFR-V1 at their Tokyo-Ginza showroom in this past weekend.
But I did not have much time to spent.
Efficiency is quite low. I brought my MOVE with low-gain mode and I have to turn the volume to almost full right max position to get adequate sound level. The sound comes from front, this is the sales point of this one.
The overall SQ is not bad but I was not much impressed. I have K1000 but the PFR-V1 is not in the same league IMO.
Anyway, I want to make time to try another audition with more high-gain amp.
