I have an old Sony Network Walkman, 'HDD NW HD-3'.
It charges and says that it connects to my Windows 10 PC, and the PC sees it as a USB drive.
I have downloaded the Sony Music Player. I can transfer files to this player and they play via the PC.
But the Walkman does not acknowledge any files.
The Sony software on the PC doesn't seem to be able to transfer any files to the Walkman - if I click 'transfer files', it tells me to connect the player...which is already connected.
The Sony website has software for a 'Personal Music Player', but nothing downloads when one clicks the button. I can't find software anywhere else.
Am I wasting my time trying to get this thing to play?! It's a beautifully made little machine. (It was my late father's. He loved Sony stuff and bought this in the mid 2000s when it came out).
Thank you
