I recently bought myself a Sony NW-A35 DAP and before I used the tool on Rockbox to remove the EU volume cap I am sure it didn't have any record functions on it. Since I have used the tool I notice that there is a record function on the Sony NW-35 but I cannot get it working. I guess the Australian/Asian model has record function. Is this right?

Can anyone who applied the tool on the Sony NW-A35 confirm that there is a Record function and settings on the Asian/Australian model of the DAP. I have looked at the specifications on the Hong Kong and Australian Sony site and there is no record function yet on my model (which I set on the tool to E2 Australia Asia) it has a record function and setting with just folder with numbers on them. This is very strange. Please advise.

Is the record function only for FM radio option? I think that is the reason you are not recording...
