I was thinking about buying the Sony MDR XB500 for my iPod Classic. Can anyone give me Pros and Cons? Are they comfortable if you wear them for a very long time? Do they break very easily? Do they have a nice sound quality? Is the cable not too long? Thanks!

- Extremely comfortable
- Simple yet solid construction
- Sound decent, improve with EQ
- Cable is short, 4 ft maybe

Obviously these headphones sound better with electronic music, if you're looking for headphones for classical or acoustic then there are better options.

Well, i have a very diverse music taste. I listen to bands like Blondie just as much as i listen to Within Temptation and various Pop and Rock bands.
