How do these headphones sound? I found them fairly cheap on ebay (I know they sell fakes) and am interested in them... Also, is this a legit seller? SONY MDR-V900HD PROFESSIONAL DJ Monitor Headphone - eBay (item 260496914393 end time Dec-24-09 21:54:17 PST)

Fakes. 9/10 V900/V900HD from China are fakes.
Look for Sony 7509 or 7509 HD - flawless headphones.

Thanks for the reply. So your saying most likely they are fake...I guess I wont take my chances then. Unfortunately, the 7509 are more than I have to spend right now but I appreciate you saving me from buying a fake pair of headphones. I think I will just have to get the ATH-M50, they are more in my budget.

How do the MDR-XB500 compare to the ATH-M50?

ATH-M50 = better sound
XB500 = just bass, only kind of music that sound good in this headphones is D&B.

Close in this price range - Shure SRH 840 and AKG 271 mk II - worth to try.
