So far it seems like Amazon has the best deal. You might want to post up a WTB in the forum and see if you can get a used one...but $64 for a new one isn't bad...not bad at all.

All the V6's I've seen have curly cables.

I own both the V6's and 7506's. My old V6's cables are less heavy/thick and more flexible, IMHO, than my newer 7506's.

I know I could look it up, but since I'm right here and I gotta wake the kids up in just a minute, are the V6s still in production?

The V6 is one of the two headphones that I will never be without.

I may be wrong, but the coiled cord *seems* to weigh as much, or more, than the headphones themselves -- really sturdy.
They've lasted several years now, and still look like new -- and sound very good too.

GC might price match Amazon, if you print the ad and bring it into the store.
