I'm in the market for some v6's and noticed they're available on amazon. Any other place sell them?

I have them and they are very similar in V509. They are very well balanced and used mostly for professional recording/mixing. eBay could give you a good used price.

So far it seems like Amazon has the best deal. You might want to post up a WTB in the forum and see if you can get a used one...but $64 for a new one isn't bad...not bad at all.

I own both the V6's and 7506's. My old V6's cables are less heavy/thick and more flexible, IMHO, than my newer 7506's.

Kinda amazing how these phones manage to keep their value despite all the advances.

The V6 is one of the two headphones that I will never be without.

I may be wrong, but the coiled cord *seems* to weigh as much, or more, than the headphones themselves -- really sturdy.
They've lasted several years now, and still look like new -- and sound very good too.
