Sony MDR-S50 - is it any good?

Hi, there is one nearby here where I live for sale for about $20. Quite vintage stuff.  Is it any good? 
Is it an all-rounder or more specified? Seems like a quality set.

hi. I jiust bought a pair in a garage sale. their value is in the fact that they are not that easy to find. but the sound is upering medium too much. the curve is like a hill. there are volume knobs on each cup, and then, it needs fixing with a contact cleaner. which I did and then it works fine.
