I don't know when this did happen nor do I know how, but yesterday I discovered like a "hole like" indent, or to sum it up, a baby nail sized hole. I can see the driver through it, it looks like a silver/metalish looking object? I am just wondering if my EX's are fine. I mean I tryed them on my iPod and they sound the same but I just want reassurance that my $100 birthday gift isn't going to go bad in the long run. I need these to last me awhile. Thanks!

I would say just be aware of where you put them...if you are using some kind of carrying case, then simply put them in there....if not, get some mints in a tin and eat the mints (not all at once...they give you a tummy-ache). You can line the tin with some kind of felt if you like and then make sure dust/hair doesn't get in the driver.
