Wow. I just got rid of my EX-90LP's and started using a pair of EX71's I had laying around. The bass, the detail, it all is just there. It sounds so much better then the EX90's I had. Anyone else agree or have any thoughts on this?

i remember the ex 71/51's sounding like bloated bassy crap with no details lost at all of the frequencies. the ex90's i remember sounding way better, especially with the germanium mod. i think i gave my 71's away or purposely lost them

I remember the EX71's suck. I lvoed them SOO much until i got E4c's...

I actually consider the ex-90's a top contender in the iem market however

I really didn't like my EX71 even though I used them for like a year before I got a pair of E3c.

The EX71 had no bass or isolation and it sounded like crap. The cord was also the worst quality I have ever seen.

Considering the price of the EX-91's, I'd much rather spend a bit extra, and get a more genuine IEM (ie: E2C), even for the sake of just eliminating microphonics (since most IEMs allow the wire to be worn around the ear).
