Good evening everybody, I am about to buy an Sony Mdr Ex650AP, because there's a discount on them for now(on my local stores). However, I see a lot of bad reviews about corrosion on the housing because of brass( I saw both black and gold ones get rusted).

If you ever noticed it, have you ever tried to remove? I am asking it, because if that corrosion is a resolvable problem, I will buy the earphone. I have never cleaned something brass, I saw different cleaning instructions on the internet but I do not now if I can apply these on the earphones.

I really wonder, after you see corrosion, do you throw them away? Is there anyone tried to solve this problem, or why are we still buying these ?
